Description
Mazdutide (IBI362, OXM3) is a long-acting unimolecular dual agonist at the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) and glucagon receptor (GCGR), modeled on the structure of oxyntomodulin. By co-engaging both receptors, it represents a mechanistically distinct research scaffold compared to selective GLP-1R agonists, enabling preclinical studies that dissect the separate and combined contributions of GLP-1 and glucagon pathways to glucose metabolism, thermogenesis, hepatic lipid clearance, and caloric intake suppression.
This lyophilized reference compound is intended for use in receptor pharmacology assays, rodent metabolic model studies, and comparative mechanistic research alongside other incretin-class peptides. Each vial is sealed under inert atmosphere to maintain peptide stability during storage. Reconstitution in sterile aqueous vehicles per established protocols is recommended prior to experimental use. For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
