Product & Research Information

What are your products intended for?

All Dorado Research products are intended exclusively for in vitro laboratory research, analytical testing, and scientific study by qualified researchers. They are not approved for use as food, drugs, cosmetics, or medical devices, and are not intended for human or animal consumption under any circumstances.

Are your products approved by the FDA?

No. Our products are research chemicals sold for laboratory research use only. They have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition in humans or animals.

Can I use your products for self-experimentation or supplementation?

Absolutely not. Dorado Research products are supplied strictly for controlled laboratory research. Any use outside of a professional laboratory research context is strictly prohibited. By placing an order, buyers certify they will use products only for legitimate scientific research purposes.

Can I ask for dosing instructions or usage advice?

No. We do not provide dosing instructions, usage guidance, or any information that could be interpreted as advice for human or veterinary use. Our team can answer questions about compound characteristics, purity data, and storage conditions as they relate to laboratory research only.

What purity levels do your compounds reach?

All Dorado Research compounds are required to meet a minimum of 99% purity as verified by HPLC/UPLC-MS analysis at an independent third-party laboratory. Results are documented in our Certificates of Analysis (COAs), which are available upon request.

Ordering & Eligibility

Do I need to be a licensed professional to order?

While we do not require a specific license to place an inquiry, by submitting an order you certify that you are at least 18 years of age, that you represent a qualified research institution or laboratory, and that you will use the products exclusively for legitimate in vitro laboratory research. We reserve the right to request verification and to cancel any order we believe is inconsistent with our RUO policy.

How do I place an order?

Dorado Research operates on an inquiry basis. Browse our catalog, identify the compounds and quantities you need, and submit an inquiry via our Contact Us page. Our team will respond within 24 business hours with availability, pricing, and payment instructions.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards processed through a secure, PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store card data on our systems. Payment details are provided when your inquiry is confirmed.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship to?

We ship throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. International shipments may be available on a case-by-case basis — please contact us to confirm availability and any applicable import regulations in your jurisdiction. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws regarding research chemicals.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Standard U.S. delivery is 3–7 business days. Expedited shipping options are available upon request. All compounds are shipped with appropriate cold-chain handling to protect product integrity.

Testing & Documentation

How do I obtain a Certificate of Analysis for a product?

COAs are available for every compound and batch we supply. Contact us at info@doradoresearch.co with the product name and your order number (if applicable) and we will send the relevant documentation. COAs are issued by independent third-party laboratories and are provided for informational purposes only; they do not imply FDA approval or any regulatory endorsement.

What does your third-party testing cover?

Independent testing covers HPLC/UPLC-MS purity analysis (confirming compound identity and purity percentage), bacterial endotoxin testing (LAL method), and where applicable, mass spectrometry confirmation of peptide sequence. All testing is performed by accredited U.S. laboratories with no affiliation to Dorado Research.

Storage & Handling

How should research peptides be stored?

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored in a cool, dry environment, ideally at −20°C for long-term storage and 2–8°C for short-term use. Protect vials from direct light, moisture, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Once reconstituted, use promptly and do not refreeze. Refer to the product’s COA or data sheet for compound-specific recommendations.

Returns & Liability

What is your return policy?

Due to the sensitive nature of research compounds, all sales are final once an order has shipped. If you receive a damaged or incorrect shipment, notify us at info@doradoresearch.co within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order information. We will investigate and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or credit.

Who is responsible for compliant use of the products?

Responsibility for compliant, lawful, and appropriate use of all Dorado Research products transfers entirely to the buyer upon delivery. We disclaim all liability for damages, injuries, or regulatory violations arising from use of our products outside of their intended in vitro laboratory research context.

For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
