These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dorado Research website (doradoresearch.co) and any products or services made available through it. By accessing this site or submitting an order inquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Research Use Only — Buyer Certification (CRITICAL)

All products offered by Dorado Research are sold exclusively as Research Use Only (RUO) compounds intended for in vitro laboratory research, analytical testing, and scientific study by trained professionals in controlled laboratory settings.

By submitting an inquiry, placing an order, or purchasing any product from Dorado Research, you irrevocably certify that:

  • You are 18 years of age or older.
  • You are a qualified researcher, scientist, or representative of a legitimate research institution or laboratory.
  • The products you are purchasing will be used exclusively for in vitro laboratory research purposes.
  • You will NOT use, or permit the use of, any Dorado Research product for human consumption, veterinary use, self-experimentation, supplementation, food, cosmetics, or any purpose other than laboratory research.
  • You assume full responsibility for compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws and regulations governing the purchase, import, handling, use, and disposal of research chemicals in your jurisdiction.
  • You understand that Dorado Research products have not been approved by the FDA or any other regulatory authority and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or reverse any order we reasonably believe is inconsistent with this RUO certification, without liability.

2. Product Information and Accuracy

We strive to ensure catalog information is accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that product descriptions, pricing, or availability information is error-free. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to modify or discontinue products without notice.

Prices are subject to change without notice. All orders are subject to acceptance at the time of confirmation.

3. No Medical or Dosing Advice

Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice, clinical guidance, dosing information, or any recommendation for human or veterinary use. We do not provide any guidance that could be construed as encouraging use of our products outside of a professional laboratory research context. Researchers are solely responsible for their own research protocols.

4. Ordering and Payment

Dorado Research operates on an inquiry basis. Submission of an inquiry does not constitute a binding order; an order is confirmed only when we send written acceptance and payment is received. We accept major credit and debit cards processed through a third-party PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store card data.

5. Shipping and Risk of Loss

We ship within the United States and Puerto Rico. Shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss and title to products transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with any applicable import regulations in your jurisdiction.

6. Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of research compounds, all sales are final once an order has shipped. Exceptions are made only for demonstrably incorrect or significantly damaged shipments reported within 7 days of delivery. See our Refund & Returns Policy for full details.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, design, graphics, and brand elements, is the property of Dorado Research and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Products are provided “as is” for research purposes only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that products are free from defect for purposes other than their intended RUO research application.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dorado Research shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or website, including but not limited to misuse of research compounds, violation of applicable laws, or reliance on information provided on this site. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable federal law of the United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Puerto Rico.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Continued use of the site after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
